[I'm going to try posting this here... possibly it was a mistake putting it in general discussion. Sorry for the double post.]My co-designer Frax and I are in the process of designing a game which uses a board; it's actually a tabletop roleplaying game but we're looking to include as an optional extra a playmat which would closely resemble the board from a high-quality board game.
We've already designed the core of it - i.e. we know what needs to go on the board - and made a mock-up, but we don't have the skills to make it beautiful. So, assuming we can afford it, we're looking for either a layout person and an artist who can work closely together or (ideally) someone who combines both skillsets.
Can anyone point me in the direction of places where we might advertise for such a person? Or recommend a person - maybe you?
Oh, and if you're interested to know what the project is actually about, it's called Lovecraftesque, and it's a GMless/GMful mystery game where you create a horror story along the lines of HP Lovecraft's stories, but new and fresh (i.e. no cthulhu, no migo, you make your own monsters). So, bonus points for artists who are good with Lovecraftish themes.
