Hey all, I'm Gabe. I'm a professional illustrator in Raleigh NC.One of the companies that hired me was strapped for cash, but wanted an elaborately decorated game board so here's the solution we came up with. I hope it works for you too.
The idea was to draw and render buildings and other terrain features separately using isometric perspective instead of true perspective. This way I only had to create a limited number of buildings and terrain features that were interchangeable so for only a handful of buildings, we could have multiple cities.
