Hey all, I'm Gabe. I'm a professional illustrator in Raleigh NC.

One of the companies that hired me was strapped for cash, but wanted an elaborately decorated game board so here's the solution we came up with. I hope it works for you too.

The idea was to draw and render buildings and other terrain features separately using isometric perspective instead of true perspective. This way I only had to create a limited number of buildings and terrain features that were interchangeable so for only a handful of buildings, we could have multiple cities.

Here are some of the city pieces.

Here's one of the cities after it was arranged.

Here are all the Village pieces.

And here they are as two different villages.

Industrial pieces.

Terrain bits.

Here's a final look at the board.

Hope this helps!

I illustrate comics, kids books, and board games for a living. I have good references and I am available right now.
