Looking for fantasy-themed artwork to use for a card game that I'm currently in the process of developing. The cards will be distributed for free online, which is a departure from the traditional route of selling them through a brick-and-mortar retailer. This is an experimental model I've created, and I believe it's a necessarily step in the evolution of customizable card games.What I'm asking for is a license to use pre-existing artwork for card images in exchange for promotion of you as an artist and as a medium to display your art. I know it doesn't sound glamorous, but let me outline specifically what I have in mind before you blow me off entirely.
-I want to use art that you've already created. I'm not asking you to invest time and energy that you could be spending on commissions for clients to create new artwork for me.
-A significant amount of real estate on each card is devoted to the artwork. This is intentional. I want the people who play this game to appreciate the artwork and the artist behind it. You will also be properly copyrighted on the card itself.
-Alongside the online image of the particular card featuring your art, I will provide direct links to your DeviantArt profile (and any other websites you wish) so that people who like your work will be able to easily view the rest of your portfolio.
-Most importantly, I'm only asking for licensing rights for these images. You will retain all ownership rights. So if someone likes the art for a particular card and wants to own it, they can buy a print directly from your DeviantArt page (or any other online store you want to use) and you will keep 100% of the profits. I'm not asking for a cut. One of the major reasons I haven't gone a more traditional route with the game art is because I want to feature more unknown and up-and-coming artists. It's my sincere goal for you to make money from your involvement this project.
If you graciously agree to lend me the use of your art, I will need your legal contact information so I can properly copyright you on the card image. I would also need any and all elements of your online presence (DeviantArt, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) that you want featured on our website once I make it available or public viewing.

- Necromancers
- Skeletons, zombies, etc.
- Good & Evil Knights
- Elves (snow elves, preferably)
- Egyptian
- Dwarves
- Fairies
- Fantasy Landscapes
